Bomb Attack on SUV in Bhubaneswar Sparks Police Investigation
Khandagiri Police on Monday started an investigation after unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at one SUV on Saturday. The vehicle has suffered extensive damage in the bombing. However, no injuries have been reported to the occupants.
Though the exact reason behind the bombing is unclear, it is suspected that the incident could be the fallout of some past rivalry.
Sources said that a fierce clash had broken between two groups some two months back. It is alleged that the bombing is linked to the ongoing dispute between the same group.
It is pertinent to mention here that several vehicles were also ransacked during the group clash that was reported two months back.
Based on the complaint filed, Khandagiri Police has started a probe into the bombing incident.
