Just a few days after two young techies were killed after being hit by a speeding Porsche in Pune, an elderly man died after being hit by an Audi. This time, the incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.

The deceased has been identified as Janak Dev Shah (63), a retired All India Radio employee who lived in Noida Sector 53. The whole incident was caught on a CCTV camera which shows the speeding Audi hitting the elderly man, leading to his death on the spot.

Going by the CCTV footage, the elderly man can be seen crossing the road when suddenly the Audi comes from the front and hits him, killing him on the spot. The police said the accident took place near Kanchenjunga Apartment in Sector 53, Noida.

The man was going to buy milk, police said adding that the intensity of the accident was such that he was flung several feet in the air.

His family members started looking for him when he did not return home and found his body lying in a pool of blood on the road. A police case has been filed over the incident. Cops said they were searching for the vehicle and the owner's details.

Meanwhile, in the latest twist in the Pune Porsche case, two doctors have been arrested for allegedly manipulating the blood test report of the 17-year-old, whose late-night drunk drive left two software engineers dead.
Dr. Ajay Tawade and Dr. Hari Harnor of Sasoon Hospital have been arrested by the Pune Crime Branch, which is investigating the case that has sparked nationwide outrage.
