The exam schedule has been released at a time when there is growing clamour by job aspirants for postponement of various recruitment examinations in the State in view of the rapid rise in the number of Covid infections.

The Odisha Civil Services (Main) Examination-2020 is slated to be conducted from January 20, 2022 to February 6, 2022 (Except 26.01.2022 & 05.02.2022).  

As per the official notice, the 'vacancies for ex-serviceman have been revised to 10% of the total vacancies as per extant provisions.

The Commission has declared the date of physical standard and physical efficiency test for the recruitment of police SI posts.

Earlier in December last year, the commission had announced the complete schedule of the recruitment examinations which will be held in the month of January 2022.

As many as 4754 candidates including 1551 women who have cleared the preliminary examination will appear in the main examination, one of the toughest recruitment examinations of the State, at designated examination centres across different cities. 

The closing date for submission of offline applications is February 7, 2022 (6 pm). For residents of Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep, the last date is February 21, 2022.

As per the official advertisement, 16 young professions with different qualifications will be appointed under the current recruitment drive.

The original certificates and other relevant documents of candidates shortlisted for the posts of Market Intelligence Inspector-2017 will be verified on January 17, 2022 at 10 am in the office of the Commission at Unit-V of Bhubaneswar.

Candidates, who had appeared for NTPC CBT 1 examination, can check the result at the official site of RRBs

According to the notification issued by SIDBI, the recruitments will be on full-time contractual basis.

The civil service aspirants can now log in to the official website (www.opsc.gov.in) and fill up online forms to take part in one of the toughest recruitment examinations of the State.

The Commission said the interview for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Journalism & Mass Communication scheduled to be conducted from January 10 to 13 has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. 

The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in ITI/ Diploma/ Postgraduate. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, if required and offer will be sent through the portal.
