The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has revised the vacancies for NTPC recruitment drive. Candidates can check the official notice on the official site of RRBs.

As per the official notice, the 'vacancies for ex-serviceman have been revised to 10% of the total vacancies as per extant provisions.

"The post of Goods Guard (Cat.No.3) in Level – 5 is not suitable for PwBD candidates. The LD post notified for RRB/J&K becomes Nil... All other terms and conditions of CEN-01/2019 will remain unchanged.," read the notice.

The Board further advised candidates to regularly visit the official websites of the RRBs for updates and warned to remain alert against touts who may misguide them with false promises of getting them selected for the job on illegal consideration. 

"The recruitment process in the RRB exams is fully computerized and the selection is based purely on the merit of candidates. Anyone attempting or using unfair and illegal means in the recruitment process to gain employment shall be disqualified, debarred permanently and charged for criminal offence," it added.

On the other hand, the RRB is likely to release the first stage computer-based test (CBT 1) for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) by January 15, 2022.

Candidates, who had appeared for NTPC CBT 1 examination, can check the result at the official site of RRBs. The board had conducted the CBT 1 exam from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021.
