The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is likely to release the first stage computer-based test (CBT 1) for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) by January 15, 2022.

Candidates, who had appeared for NTPC CBT 1 examination, can check the result at the official site of RRBs. The board had conducted the CBT 1 exam from December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021.

"The result of 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) is currently under process and the results are tentatively scheduled to be published in the official websites of RRBs by January 15, 2022," the Ministry of Railways said in a notice dated December 5. 

It further said that the CBT-2 exam for the candidates, who will get shortlisted in CBT-1, is tentatively scheduled to be held from February 14 to 18, 2022, 'subject to the prevailing conditions and government guidelines issued from time to time in view of handling of the Covid-19 pandemic'.

The Ministry also advised candidates to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. "Please do not get misled by unauthorized sources," it warned.

Around one crore applicants are eagerly waiting for their RRB NTPC result.
