The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the admission certificate or admit card for the upcoming Odisha Civil Services (OCS-2020) main written examination.
The Commission is scheduled to conduct the Odisha Civil Services (Main) Examination-2020 from January 20, 2022 to February 6, 2022 (Except 26.01.2022 & 05.02.2022).
As many as 4754 candidates including 1551 women who have cleared the preliminary examination will appear in the main examination, one of the toughest recruitment examinations of the State, at designated examination centres across different cities.
The preliminary examination of OCS-2020 was conducted on August 27, 2021 in five zonal centres of the State- Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
As per the schedule, the main examination will be conducted in two sessions. While the forenoon session will begin at 9 am and continue till 12 pm, the afternoon session will be conducted between 2 pm and 5 pm. The PwD candidates will be given one hour extra time in each sitting .i.e. from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm.

OCS-2020 Main Examination:
The Main Examination shall consist of the following papers (mentioned below) and each paper shall be of three hours duration.
Compulsory papers - 1400 marks
Paper - I Odia Language 300 Marks
Paper - II English 300 Marks
Paper - III English Essay 200 Marks
Paper - IV General Studies-I 300 Marks
Paper - V General Studies-II 300 Marks
Papers - (Paper VI,VII,VIII & IX) - 1200 marks
Those who clear the Main examination will be called for personality test or interview. The personality test carries 250 marks.
The official notification for the Odisha Civil Service Examination was published by the OPSC in February 2021 for filling up 392 Group A and Group B posts coming under the Odisha Civil Services.
