Army Public School Recruitment Update: Apply for over 1000 posts
Bhubaneswar: The Army Public School has invited online applications to fill up vacancies for the post of teachers at 137 schools located in various cantonments and military stations across the country.
The exact number of vacancies will be projected by the school or management while advertising for holding interviews for selection of teachers. However, it is expected that the recruitment will be done to fill up over 1,000 posts.
Last for candidates to apply for teaching job at Army Public School is December 21, 2017.
The Army Public Schools are schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and are affiliated to CBSE through Army Welfare Education Society (AWES).
In first stage, the AWES authorities will conduct an online exam in all Army Public Schools. Those who qualify in this stage will be given a Score Card which is valid for life.
Candidates having a score card will be eligible to appear for remaining stages of the selection process.
In the second stage, a personal interview will be conducted across the country.
As per the notification, written test comprising Essay and Comprehension of 15 marks each will be held for Language teachers. Computer proficiency tests might be held if selection committee desires.
Army Public School recruitment 2018: Here are the details of the posts:-
Name of the posts: The exam will be held for the posts of PGT/TGT/PRT for all subjects.
- For PGT vacancies, a Post Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and B.Ed professional degree is must.
- For TGT vacancies, Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and B.Ed professional degree.
- For PRT vacancies, Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and B.Ed professional degree or two year diploma.

Examination date: Jan 15-17, 2018
Announcement of Result: Jan 27, 2018
(i) Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years as on 01 April 2018. However, in case of Delhi schools TGT/PRT should be less than 29 years and PGT less than 36 years
(ii) Experienced Candidates: Below 57 years as on 01 April 2018. Candidates should have minimum five years teaching experience in the last 10 years
How to apply:
- Candidates must register online for the screening exam by logging onto www.aps-csb.in . The registration portal will be open from December 1, 2017 to December 21, 2017.
(a) Log onto the website — www.aps-csb.in and fill up the personal information on the application form.
(b) Pay the exam fee online. Payment options are Debit/Credit Cards/ Net banking/Bank Challan.
(c) After payment of fee, candidates should attach photographs and signatures, proof of date of birth and certificates of academic qualifications.
(e) After completion of the registration, candidates will get a confirmation through e-mail and SMS regarding the same.
