The locals of Ramagiri will consecrate the idols of Lord Ram and Devi Sita at the Jagannath Temple on January 22, at the exact time of Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya.
It has been done in view of the inauguration of the Srimandir Parikrama Project in Puri on January 17 (Today) and the consecration ceremony of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
BJP leader Dilip Mallik said, “The Pran Pratishtha’ of Lord Ram has been an outcome of a 500-year-old struggle. The day is being perceived and regarded as an auspicious and sacred day. It is a matter of emotional attachment with Lord Ram for Hindus in the country."

Uttar Pradesh Police has installed over 10,000 CCTV cameras and will deploy drones to ensure security in Ayodhya on the day of the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple.
