A Kashi-based sculptor crafted a replica of the Ram Lalla idol for a Hanuman temple in the Netherlands. Commissioned by EterBliss Foundation, which promotes Sanatan Dharma globally, the idol will undergo rituals in Ayodhya before being installed in Amsterdam.
On Ram Navami, a grand celebration was held at the new Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya, highlighted by the 'Surya Tilak'—a scientific marvel using astrophysics to direct sunlight onto the deity's forehead, symbolizing a divine gesture.
During Ram Navami, a unique celestial event called Surya Tilak occurred at Ram Mandir, where sun rays touched Lord Ram's forehead. This was engineered by IIT Roorkee using a specialized apparatus with mirrors and lenses to ensure precision. The event symbolizes divine blessings and involves traditional rituals like aarti and conch blowing.
Ayodhya is observing its first Ram Navami after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ram Temple on January 22.
Ayodhya witnesses a surge of devotees for Ram Navami, with extended darshan hours at the Ram temple. Notable is the Surya Tilak event, where sunlight marks Lord Ram's idol. The city is festively decorated, and live broadcasts enhance the spiritual experience.
This is being done on the occasion of Ram Navami and in view of the expected huge turnout of devotees on the first Ram Navami in Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony.
Police officials deployed at Ayodhya for the Ram Navami celebrations, which will begin from midnight on April 16, have been asked to do 24-hour long shifts.
Experts from the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) are already camping in Ayodhya to lay down an optomechanical system on the ground floor of the temple in collaboration with scientists from the Indian Institute of Astrophysics-Bengaluru.
The officials are expecting a congregation of more than 50 lakh pilgrims on the day.

The project has been discussed under the PM GatiShakti initiative to “spur implementation and planning,” according to a statement issued by the Commerce and Industry Ministry on Friday.
Santosh Kumar Jena from Totagaon under Ganjam’s Khallikote NAC mesmerised everybody in his village by creating a rangoli sculpture of Ram Mandir. More than 30 kg of Rangoli has been used to create the sculpture which has a size of 345 sqft.

Anil Mishra, trustee of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that 10 donation counters had been opened on the day of Pran Pratishtha. Apart from this, many devotees from across the country and the world sent online donations to Lord Ram.
In view of the huge number of devotees visiting the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the temple administration has taken a decision to extend the time for 'darshan'.
