The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to be fully completed by March 2025, with significant construction milestones scheduled for 2023. The temple will feature statues from Makrana marble and a museum, attracting over 1.75 crore visitors since January.

Ayodhya witnesses a surge of devotees for Ram Navami, with extended darshan hours at the Ram temple. Notable is the Surya Tilak event, where sunlight marks Lord Ram's idol. The city is festively decorated, and live broadcasts enhance the spiritual experience.
This is being done on the occasion of Ram Navami and in view of the expected huge turnout of devotees on the first Ram Navami in Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony.
Police officials deployed at Ayodhya for the Ram Navami celebrations, which will begin from midnight on April 16, have been asked to do 24-hour long shifts.
