The actor’s mortal remains were flown back to Bhubaneswar on Thursday night, turning the atmosphere at the Biju Patnaik International Airport gloomy. Actors, actresses, his fans and followers turned up in large numbers to have a last glimpse of their favourite actor. 

The injured criminal has been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in the city. The police recovered a pistol, ammunition and an auto-rickshaw from the spot.

The CHSE Plus II board examinations will begin from tomorrow (March 1). More than 3.5 lakh students will appear for the examination. For this, a total of 1,145 examination centres have been set up across Odisha.

The arrested petrol pump owner has been identified as a resident of Kalahandi who received the stolen diesel. Among the rest arrested persons, four are from Sambalpur district and the rest two belong to Bargarh district. The police also seized a tanker, a car and a generator used in the crime.
