Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has ordered the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to submit the record of rights (RoR) in connection with the suspension of two servitors (Daitapatis) allegedly behind the delay in ‘Brahma Paribartan’ ritual. Moreover, while taking up the case, the High Court has also directed the SJTA to record statements of other daitapatis in this connection.

On June 24, Jayakrushna Dasmohapatra and Kashinath Dasmohapatra were suspended from Daita Seva for an indefinite period by SJTA under section 21 (B) of the Shri Jagannath Temple Act, 1954.
Notably, the father-son duo was suspended from Daita Seva of Lord Jagannath for allegedly creating disturbance during Brahma Paribartan leading to inordinate delay in the secret ritual.
