As many as six Royal Bengal Tigers and 49 leopards have died in Odisha in the last one decade. State Forest Minister Pradip Amat informed the Assembly on Tuesday that Odisha lost six tigers in the last 10 years from 2012-13 to 2021-22. During the same period, the State reported 49 leopard deaths. Three tigers and 26 leopards have been killed by poachers in these 10 years.
