Odisha government has imposed a night curfew from 10 PM of tonight to 5AM tomorrow morning across the state. These restrictions have been imposed to avoid crowding in view of New Year Eve celebrations. The decision was conveyed by the Special Relief Commissioner, Pradeep Jena, through a tweet.

The CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams will begin from May 4, 2021. The announcement was made by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today. As per the announcement, there are plans to finish the exams by June 10. Practical exams are scheduled to be held from March 1st. There are plans to publish the result by July 15.
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has extended the deadline for FASTag till February 15, 2021. As per the earlier order, it was mandatory for all vehicles to have a FASTag by January 1, 2021 failing which the violators will have to pay heavy penalties. Panic gripped the residents at Ladijodi village under Borigumma block in Koraput district after a sleuth of wild bears entered the village and wreaked havoc. Riding two-wheeler without a helmet in Odisha will prove costly for riders from this New Year. As per its earlier decision, the Odisha government will ensure strict enforcement of provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. According to the new amendments, a two-wheeler rider would have his Driving License (DL) suspended for three months if found riding the vehicle without wearing a helmet. The law also includes penalty in case a pillion rider is found without a helmet.
