The three-day Miss India 2020 Contest was organised by Mission Dreams in Kolkata from December 16 to December 18. Over 15,000 contestants participated from across the nation. Just 31 girls reached the final round and Pratiksha, a resident of the steel city Rourkela was one of these finalists.

On December 30 and December 31st, devotees from the local panchayat will be allowed to have darshan. Keeping in mind the rush expected on January 1st and January 2nd, the temple will remain closed. From January 3rd the general public will be allowed to have darshan. Sanitizers and masks have been made mandatory for entry into temple. According to the district administration, the identity proof of servitors has also been made mandatory for darshan.
