With mercury continuing to plummet, several parts of Odisha are under the grip of an intense cold wave condition. The regional meteorological office in Bhubaneswar has forecast that the minimum temperature across the State is very likely to fall by 3 to 4°C over the next two to three days. The ‘Kashmir of Odisha', Daringbadi, in Kandhamal district emerged the coldest in the last 24 hours with the minimum temperature going down to 7.05 degrees Celsius while Phulbani recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degree Celsius.
