Bhubaneswar: Intense cold wave conditions will prevail in Odisha from tomorrow onwards, informed a senior official of Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.

"The intensity of cold will increase in the State after withdrawal of water vapours from the atmosphere. There will be further drop in night temperatures as the sky is likely to remain clear from today," said Director the Regional Meteorological Centre, Sarat Chandra Sahu.

Foggy condition will prevail at a few places as wind speed from Northern parts will remain at 20-25 km per hour, he added.

For the past two days, many places including Puri experienced rainfall while Phulbani recorded a minimum temperature of seven degree Celsius. Normal life in Phulbani has been adversely affected by the sharp drop in night temperatures in the last one week.
