PCCF Odisha, Debidutta Biswal on Friday informed that rain has certainly eased the overall forest fire situation in the state.

The decision to put the strike on hold was announced by the Odisha Driver Mahasangh President, Prashant Menduli.

The orange warning for thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind with speed reaching up to 40-50kmph and hailstorm has been issued for the districts of Keonjhar, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Khordha, and Puri.
