While talking to media, Odisha Pradesh Congress President Sarat Pattanayak said, “What is the proof that the audio is of Chief Minister? We cannot accept that it is CM’s audio. If the CM has really sent him, it should be informed to the people in Odisha in written.”
Patnaik in his letter claimed that the name of VK Pandian appears in hoardings bearing the symbol of BJD at Hatibadi Road, Ram Nagar, Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district. The hoarding proclaims that Rs 20 lakh has been sanctioned for a Church during visit of 5T Secretary VK Pandian which is a clear violation of Rule 5 of AIS Conduct Rules.

While the campaign is being planned from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, Congress parliamentarian Rahul Gandhi will participate in the 'padayatra' (foot march). The padyatra will be about 3,500 km long and is scheduled to be completed in around 150 days.
