Five mega drinking water projects worth Rs 1,336 crore under the Odisha Mineral Bearing Areas Development Corporation (OMBADC) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) for districts like Mayurbhanj, Cuttack and Sambalpur have also received nod.

The Odisha Cabinet has approved 13 important proposals. 

State Cabinet approved the Odisha Electronics Policy, 2021 and ordinance for vesting of the management Lingaraj Temple affairs, its property including temples situated within and outside its premises, sacred places & mutts, in a Committee for better administration and governance. 

The proposal to amend the Odisha Social Security Services (Methods of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2021 received the nod of the State Cabinet on Friday.
