Two encounters are underway in Kashmir between the terrorists and security forces at Tujjan area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district and at Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Tuesday.

The protesting Kashmiri Pandit employees and others posted in the Valley carried placards with pictures of their colleague Rajni Bala, school teacher who was killed by terrorists at a school in Kulgam district on Tuesday.
On May 31, militants killed Rajni Bala, a non-local teacher in the same district.
The militant associate was identified as Mohammad Saleem Khan, a resident of Shrakwara Kreeri, he added.
TV artist Amreen Bhat was killed by terrorists on Wednesday.
Three terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces at Jumagund village in North Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday.
"Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested terrorist associates were involved in providing shelter, logistics and transportation of arms/ ammunition to two active terrorists of proscribed terror outfit JeM namely Asif Sheikh resident of Monghama and Ajaz Bhat resident of Syedabad Pastuna Tral."
The deceased have been identified as Jadav Roy, Gautam Roy, Sudhir Roy, Dipak Roy and Parimal Roy all from West Bengal, and Shiva Chouhan from Assam, Nepalese national Navaraj Chaudhary and Kushi Ram Chaudhary, and Mohammad Muzaffar and Mohammad Ishirat, both residents of Marog, district Ramban.
The operation to rescue nine labourers feared trapped under the debris resumed early on Saturday after a fresh landslide on Friday evening had forced the authorities to suspend the process.
