Rapid circulation of deepfake videos has become a matter of serious concern. Not just politicians, celebrities have also become victims of deepfake videos. After Rashmika Mandanna, Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan, the stunning Katrina Kaif is the latest celebrity to be the victim of deepfake videos.
This isn’t the first time Katrina Kaif’s deepfake video has gone viral. In fact, this is the second time such video of Katrina Kaif is going viral.
Although not obscene, the viral video shows Katrina Kaif speaking fluently in French. The video is from 2019 when Katrina attended the launch of Bina Kak’s book ‘Silent Sentinels of Ranthambhore’ with superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai.
The French voiceover is AI generated but the speech isn’t been morphed or twisted, it is the exact same as her original speech.
Anybody who hasn’t seen the original video would believe that Katrina Kaif is indeed fluent in French.
“God the deepfakes are getting scarryyyyyyyy,” commented a fan.
Another fan wrote, “Katrina Kaif g is the most beautiful Charming girl in the whole universe ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“The other day videos surfaced where she was speaking Arabic, this all could be AI generated too,” commented a third user.
On the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Merry Christmas’. Although, the movie did not fare well at the box office, it received critical acclaim from all quarters. Fans loved the unusual chemistry of Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi.
