Odisha cricketer Subhranshu Senapati was brought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 20 lakh in the ongoing mega auction of the Indian Premier League 2022 on Sunday.
The former explosive batter has suggested the captain's names to the franchises, saying Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, or Dinesh Karthik are the Indian players who can become the captains in different franchises.
When two teams are tied and exhausted all their purse trying to bid for a player, they can submit a final closed bid amount and the one who's bid more will get the player.

Earlier, five players from Odisha Cricket Association (OCA)– Abhishek Raut, Subhranshu Senapati, Bikash Rout, Jayant Behera and Rajesh Mohanty– had registered for the IPL auction.
