This Ganesh Puja, a youth from Cuttack city decided to do something different. This is what he has come up with. Arjun is a businessman and he has created this miniature replica of the city and has placed Ganesh idol in the middle of it.
This is a noteworthy Ganesh idol to behold this Ganesh Puja. The huge idol is decorated with quintals of gold and silver ornaments. This has been created by Mumbai’s Gowd Saraswat Brahman (GSB) Mandal. From the donations given by devotees, 66 kgs of Gold and 296 kgs of Silver has been used. People gathered here in large numbers and are seen taking selfies with Ganpati Bappa.
“Inmates had a lot of fun on Ganesh puja. They became tired due to dancing and merrymaking and suffered from fever in the evening. I took them to hospital without delay. All of them are stable now. So I took them back to hostel again," said the hostel warden.

However, devotees have been urged to abide by the Covid precautionary measures.
Last year, BMC had said no to public participation during the Ganesh celebrations.
