The Transport Ministry's new rules include five-year accreditation of driver training schools apart from revision in syllabus for imparting training for two-wheelers which has been specifically detailed to comprehensively cover practical as well as theoretical knowledge.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is mandatory for any person above 40 years of age who wishes to get a driving license or those going for driving license renewal to produce a medical certificate under the form 1 (A) as per Motor Vehicle Act.
