Considering the current situation, easing Covid-19 lockdown measures is essential for the livelihood of people.
So far, the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is only a prediction, and whether it will arrive in Odisha or no, is yet to be established. But the state is nevertheless prepared to fight it, said Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Chief, CBK Mohanty, on Friday (June 18). Even as the third wave is being anticipated, Mohanty said that there is no need to panic now in apprehension. He also clarified that there is no clear evidence regarding children and young people getting affected in the third wave.
