The government is gearing up to roll out 5G services in India by the end of October 2022. Union Communications and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw briefed the media regarding the launch in India. Watch this video.
The annual event is expected to witness 70,000 attendees, 7,000 CXO-level delegates, 300 speakers, and 350 exhibitors in more than 60 sessions.
Encouraging the students for Startup program, Shri Vaishnaw informed that now India has 74 thousand Startups which were mere 4 hundred in 2014-15.
According to a notification issued by ECoR, 08423/08424 Puri-Nuagaon Road-Puri Passenger Special will leave Puri at 1950hrs (07.50 pm) with effect from 20 July 2022 and from Nuagaon Road it will leave at 0810hrs (08.10 am) from 21 July 2022.
A huge covered space has been made by Railways to accommodate 15,000 devotees with Food Court, Drinking Water and Toilet facilities.
Vaishnaw visited Puri station to take stock of the situation as part of the Nabakalebar project. He discussed many things to ensure safe journey of common people.
Vaishnaw appealed to the agitators to not damage railway properties or any other public properties as those belong to the nation. He also informed that high-speed 5G internet service will be rolled out in Odisha very soon.
Vaishnaw was in Surat to inspect the progress of the government's ambitious Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project.

The Minister said the Railways needed to move forward with a clear vision, absorb technology with an open mind, work with a cordial atmosphere and break hierarchies.
The telecom minister, after making a video call on indigenously developed 5G technology gears, said that it is the realisation of the Prime Minister’s vision.
The expedition of the delayed railway projects in Odisha depends upon land acquisition by the State government on a priority basis. Final location of the project also depends upon the land acquisition, said Vaishnaw
The technology should be indigenous like the contribution of Integral Coach Factory (ICF) to Vande Bharat Express, and take the sector forward, he said, while virtually inaugurating the 20th all India conference of the Bharatiya Railway Mazdoor Sangh (BRMS) at Rail mandapam, Perambur, from Delhi.
All the 46 railway stations are being developed under the Adarsh Station Scheme.
About the expansion of the network, he said that prior to 2014, the average expansion of track laying was only 1,520 km per year but has been brought up to 3,000 km per year now.
