The scene says it all. This is the glaring plight for patients outside AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Hundreds of them if not less are forced to endure with such immeasurable hardship waiting all night long to book tickets for treatment.
Even as AIIMS boasts of advanced treatment and proper health facilities, most of the departments only give tickets to 40 patients a day.
The AIIMS Finance Division, in collaboration with the SBI, will introduce 'AIIMS Smart Card' facility from April 1, 2023.
