According to the BHU officials, the findings of the study have been published in journals like Bioresource Technology, Food Biotechnology and Applied Food Biotechnology. The work will be highly beneficial for the food processing and pharma industries.

India’s moon lander part of the Chandrayaan-3 mission safely landed on the lunar surface on Wednesday.
The Aditya-L1 spacecraft -- the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun -- is at India’s rocket port in Sriharikota and is getting ready for the launch.
With this historic feat, India became the first nation to make a successful landing on the moon's South Poll.
As per media reports, some private sector companies have worked with ISRO for the Chandrayaan-3 mission.
The lander landed near the South Pole of the moon after travelling about 3.84 lakh km for over 40 days.
The expectations have been building up for the past few weeks as the Chandrayaan-3 first took off and is now finally hovering at the threshold of its first historic 'step' onto the Moon's dusty-grey 'Earth', at around 6.04 p.m.
Incidentally, unlike the Chandrayaan-2 mission where a couple of women were in a lead role -- with Project Director M. Vanitha and Mission Director Ritu Karidhal Srivastava -- this time around it was an all male club.
"I am super excited for Chandrayaan-3 on the 23rd of August. Good luck, we are cheering for you," the veteran NASA astronaut said in a video message shared by National Geographic India.
Sharma will join eminent personalities such as astronauts Sunita Williams and S Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, to provide insights on the live simulcast of Chandrayaan-3 #countdowntohistory across National Geographic Channel and Disney+ Hotstar.
A 'soft landing' by the Lander on the Moon's south pole will set India apart, making it the only country to achieve this feat.
During the launch of Chandrayaan-3 on July 14, the spacecraft’s propulsion module was loaded with 1696.4 kg of fuel. After five earth-bound manoeuvres and five lunar-bound manoeuvres, the propulsion module got separated from the lander module on August 17.
