Bhubaneswar: Meetings of the State Council of Ministers and Cabinet are scheduled to be held at the Secretariat on Thursday.

The State Council of Ministers meeting under the chairmanship of chief minister Naveen Patnaik will finalise the Supplementary Budget of Rs 7,000 crore ahead of the winter session of the State Assembly, which is scheduled to begin from December 1.

The Supplementary Budget will make allocations for Centrally-sponsored schemes such as IFD and BRGF which were delinked by the Centre with discontinuation of grants.

Besides, the Council of Ministers meeting will discuss on development of agriculture and infrastructure in the State.

Sources said the meeting is scheduled to begin at 11.15 am.

Later, the State Cabinet is scheduled to meet at the Secretariat under chairmanship of the Chief Minister at noon.
