Sambalpur: A 60-year-old man was allegedly killed by his son in Anuguliapada area under Ainthapali police limits in the district, police said on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Marshal Danga. Sources said frequent quarrels used to occur between the father and his son Ajit over family disputes in the past.
However, there was a fight between the son and father last night over some issues. The quarrel did not subside and the irate son attacked his father.
Police have arrested the accused son on the basis of a complaint lodged by the deceased man’s daughter and are investigating the matter.
