7 Awarded Life Imprisonment For Killing Samiti Member’s Husband in Odisha’s Nayagarh In 2016

The Nayagarh District and Sessions Court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to seven persons after finding them guilty in the sensational Nakula Bantha murder case that occurred in Kendudhipi village under Itamati police limits of Nayagarh district in 2016. 

The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of the convicts. 

According to the case details, Nakula Bantha, husband of the then Samiti member of Kendudhipi was brutally murdered in 2016. Nakula was returning home on a bike. Some miscreants waylaid him at Kestapada cremation ground and attacked him with sharp weapons. The miscreants also gouged out his eyes.
