Aspiring Model Soumya Ranjan’s Suicide Mystery Deepens After His Last Text Message Surfaced

The mysterious suicide of aspiring model Soumya Ranjan Panigrahi took a curious turn after his last text message to a young Ollywood producer, Ajay Padhi, surfaced on Tueaday.

In that message, Soumya was apologising to Ajay for misunderstanding him and making him suffer.

Contrary to the previous suspicion, it was Ajay who was into a relationship with the girl, prior to Soumya’s entry into her life.

Speaking to OTV, Ajay said, “We were in a relationship for two years since 2018. But we decided to part ways in 2020 to pursue careers.”

It has been learnt that Soumya entered into the girl’s life in 2020.

However, since the Infocity Police which is probing the case is yet to make any headway, the mystery of Soumya’s suicide has deepened after Ajay came out and cleared the air about his relationship with the girl.

Clarifying on Soumya's text message, Ajay further said, “Soumya thought that his closeness with the girl made me break up with her in 2020. But it is not true. Our break up was mutual and we did that to pursue our careers in a better way.”

Soumya was found hanging at his residence in Nandanvihar area of the Capital city on Monday morning.

A handwritten note, presumed to be the suicide note, had been recovered from deceased’s room. In the letter, Soumya has accused the girl, with whom he was into a relationship for the past several months, for his death.

Sources said Soumya had met the girl at a city-based gym. Soon, their relationship blossomed and the couple had even planned to marry. However, Soumya’s relationship with the girl turned sour after January 29. It is said that Soumya was shocked after he found that his girlfriend had developed closeness with another youth.

Soumya’s father, who was livid after his son’s death, said, “What I have come to know, the girl is responsible for Soumya’s death. She should be tried in the court of law for her actions.”

On the other hand, the family members of the girl, who finds herself under suspicion, feigned ignorance about the tragic incident. “I do not know much about their relationship. I am sure that my daughter will not be involved in any illegalities,” said the girl’s father.
