Major political parties intensified their campaigns at various places in the Pipili Assembly constituency in favour of their respective candidates as the deadline for campaigning will end tomorrow evening for the ensuing bypoll which is scheduled on September 30.
Leaders of BJP, BJD and Congress have been convincing voters to vote for them. Former Union Minister and BJP senior leader Pratap Sarangi visited the constituency today and joined in the campaigning for their party candidate Ashrit Pattanayak.
BJD candidate Rudra Pratap Maharathy was also found convincing the people about various welfare schemes of the State government at various places like Chainpur, Govindpur and Hatasahi.
Congress candidate Bishwokesan Harichandan also left no stone unturned in the campaign as he along with his supporters tried their best to convince the voters to vote for the grand old party. Senior party leader Sura Routray also joined with Harichandan in their door-to-door campaign at Beraboi and Munida.
