The Livestock Inspector recruitment examination will not be cancelled and it will be held as per scheduled today, informed Ganjam district administration on Sunday.

The examination is being conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) for the post of Livestock Inspectors (LI) under Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department.

In a tweet, the Collector and District Magistrate said, “The OSSSC exam for LI recruitment scheduled today at 2:30-5:00 pm WILL NOT be cancelled.” The administration further stated that necessary arrangements of buses has done at exam centres. “Also accommodation with food has been done if required in Berhampur. For further information please contact 8117055900,” the tweeted added.

A total of 565 district cadre posts of Livestock Inspector, Group-C will be filled up through the recruitment drive in various District Establishments of Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service, Odisha.

Gajapati Collector has also tweeted, “The OSSSC exam for LI recruitment scheduled today at 2:30-5:00 pm WILL NOT be cancelled. Necessary arrangements of gensets, water, has done at exam centres. Also accommodation with food has been done if required at PKD Municipality.”

 

 

It is pertinent to mention here that several candidates were demanding cancellation of the OSSSC LI recruitment examination in view of the impending cyclone threat.
