Absconding Gunrunner Arrested, 5 Pistols Seized 

The Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a gunrunner named Dhananjaya Sahoo from Nougaon area of Jagatsinghpur district and seized five Illegal country-made pistols and 6 live ammunitions from his possession. He is an accused in an arm trade case in which eight fire-arms and 20 live ammunitions were seized. Previously, two accused persons were arrested, but Dhananjaya had escaped and was absconding. Since 2020, the STF in a special drive has seized 37 illegal arms and 76 live ammunitions.
