People in India celebrate Raksha Bandhan as a bond between brothers and sisters. With the grand festival around the corner, shops and business establishments are trying their best to attract customers.

Following the current trend, a shop in Agra has prepared a special sweet named Golden Ghevar! Generally, Ghevar is a traditional Rajasthani sweet made from milk, ghee, flour, sugar and dry fruits. However, at this shop, the special Ghevar was made with a layer of 24-carat gold!

The special sweet has been prepared by Braj Rasayan Mitthan Bhandar at Shah Market in Agra. Ever since the arrival of the special item, people have been thronging the shop in large numbers to purchase the delicacy. As per reports, 12 kg of Golden Ghevar have been sold so far.

The Golden Ghevar costs a whooping Rs 25,000 per kg as the special sweet is topped with a layer of 24-carat gold.

As per the shopkeeper, the Golden Ghevar has a mixture of many dry fruits along with pistachios, almonds, peanuts and walnuts. There is also a layer of ice cream-flavoured malai on top of the special sweet.
