Watch: Rat saves its baby from king cobra, teaches snake a lesson

King cobras are one of the most dangerous snakes. The venomous snake is commonly found in India. The reptile feed on small mammals, lizards, birds and other snakes.

One such huge cobra is seen hunting a baby rat in a video that has surfaced on various social media platforms. Then, the little rat was found to be saved by its mother.

The video with the title of ‘Rat vs Snake Fight’ was shared on YouTube. The video has got tremendous response from the netizens. It has gone viral garnering over 82,000 views. 

In the clip, a king cobra can be seen attacking a baby rat. Subsequently, the mother of the rat arrives at the spot at the right moment to save her baby. The rat is found to be angry as she attacked the cobra and managed to rescue her offspring.

The rat is seen biting the cobra’s tail and jumping on it, forcing the serpent to run for its life. The reptile can be seen trying to get away from the angry rat’s attack. The rat chases after the cobra as the serpent manages to slither away at last. Ultimately, the mother rat was the winner.
