Viral video: Rat attacks pigeon and drags it underneath car; here’s what happens next

Rats attacking birds on busy streets are not something usually witnessed. However, a recent video of a rat violently attacking a pigeon in New York City has given goosebumps to many.

The video, which has now gone viral, was shared by an Instagram user with more than 1.3 million followers (WhatIsNewYork) a couple of days ago. The video has so far garnered more than 67000 likes.

A user Kathrine Narducci commented, “I would have stepped on the rats tail ! He took that bird out 😮… the pigeon could have been saved!”

Another user wrote, “Who needs the Discovery Channel when you’re walking the streets of New York!”

“I didn't know rats ate pigeons. I guess this is what happens when you clean up the trash,” wrote a user named, Adrienne.
