Nature never fails to amaze us. Mother nature has created different beings on this earth and given them a special feature to survive this world.

One such being is a wolf fish which is a predatory, eel-shaped fish that are native to the cold waters of the Arctic, North Pacific and North Atlantic Oceans.

Recently, a US fisherman caught a monster wolf fish from the ocean. He took to Instagram to share the story of one of his most dangerous catches.

Maine fisherman Jacob Knowles, who is a 5th generation lobster fisherman, shared a few things about his catch before releasing back it into the waters as it is a protected species.

Knowles captioned the video, "Meet my dog!” with the hashtags “ocean monsters, rare catch, wolf fish, catch of the day.”

In the video, the wolf fish could be seen lying on the floor of the boat. As the fish growling and wiggling around, Knowles could then be seen picking up the creature and holding it up to the camera.

As soon as Knowles picks the fish in his hands, it tries to attack and bite Jacob’s hand. He struggles a bit to hold a tight grip on the predator fish.

"It's trying to bite me. They can bite too," he said. Further, he stated, “It killed everything in the trap. We don't get them very often, they're protected. We let them go as soon as we get them. I guess we'll give him a snack seeing as he's already killed everything.”

Jacob lowered the fish towards a dead lobster that it had killed in the trap but the wolf fish lunged at Knowles. He said, “I am scared,” and dodged the wolf fish back into the water with the lobster still held firmly in its mouth.

The video created quiet a buzz on Instagram and has around 20,000 views and over 1500 likes and hundreds of comments on the post.

Reacting to the video a user wrote, "Mother Nature is absolutely brutal and it's amazing." Another said, “Wow! That's wild!.”
