Marriages these days are incomplete without dance numbers to the tune of Bollywood hit songs. The internet is filled with several videos of brides and grooms dancing their hearts out on their big day.

It has become a fashion for people to do extravaganza things to attract views on social media. However, this bride decided to take over the dance floor for an emotional reason.

The reason is her visually-impaired sister. Vlogger Karishma Patel decided to make her big day special for her visually impaired sister. The two sisters danced to Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Elli Re Elli’ from the movie Yaadein also starring the handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan.

Besides spreading happiness, the video is also leaving social media users emotional. Later, Karishma Patel shared the video on her Instagram with an emotional note and wrote, “My sister Chandni (who is visually impaired) and I share a special moment at my sangeet and we were joined by our cousins sisters.”

“During the dance I’m talking to her because she was about to cry - she was very emotional all weekend bc I was getting married and I was trying to make her laugh the entire time and remind her that just because I’m getting married doesn’t mean I won’t be there for her anymore. We have a different kind of relationship, she’s my older sister but to me she’s my little sister who I’ve always looked out for, taken care of and would get in to trouble with me,” the note read.

“This moment was so special to all of us for a number of reasons. My sister is also a beautiful singer who performed at our sangeet & welcome night and she also loves to dance and I knew it would mean a lot to her and me for her to be a part of our family dance. Thank you to our cousins for always being so patient and for practicing with Chandni when I wasn’t able to be there in person, it turned out beautiful,” the note added.

After being shared online, the video has amassed a whopping 1.6 million views and the numbers are only increasing. The post has accumulated several likes and comments from social media users who are praising the bride and her sister.
