Deforestation, water, and food scarcity, and certain other reasons are forcing wild animals to venture into human habitation. In search of food and water, wild animals enter villages in close proximity to forests. While tigers, leopards, etc get sighted in villages, herds of elephants also stray into human habitats most often.

Reports of elephants destroying houses and crops are quite prevalent. However, here we bring a video that shows the need for food is the same for everyone. Moreover, the struggle of the elephant to fetch food may also win your heart.

As seen in the video, a big elephant is seen stretching out its trunk to reach the hanging jackfruit on a huge tree. As it seems, the elephant ventured into a village as a hut is seen near the tree. The majestic animal’s trunk couldn’t reach the hanging fruit and it starts shaking the tree.

However, after failing with multiple tries, the pachyderm lifts its forelegs and stands on the hind legs. Next, it stretches out its trunk to reach the jackfruits.

Finally, the elephant succeeds in fetching two jackfruits and steps down from the tree to enjoy the delicious fruits.

The video shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Services (IFS) official Susanta Nanda has gone viral on social media. The caption for the post reads: Using hind legs to jack up for the jackfruit. Hind legs are super strong in elephants. Imagine supporting more than 4000kgs here. (sic)

Meanwhile, apart from massive retweets, several users have hailed the jumbo for its determination to fetch the fruits and its victory.
