Boy leaves girlfriend alone while she gets robbed at gunpoint, watch how netizens react

A friend in need is a friend indeed! It’s a popular proverb that defines the true meaning of friendship as well as any other relationship. When a person steps into danger or faces one, it is the responsibility of a friend to rescue the person or at least share the pain or dare to face the danger together. It gets more sensitive and duty-bound when it is about a love relationship.

However, here we bring a video of a boy who left his girlfriend alone while she gets robbed at gunpoint.

As seen in the video, the boy and his girlfriend are walking down a lane when two youths approach them on a bike. 

Suddenly, the youth riding pillion points a gun toward the girl and asks her to hand over everything she has. While the girl hands over her headphone and all other things to the robber, the boy flees the spot leaving the girl alone with them. 

After robbing the girl, the miscreants leave the place. The girl gets shocked when she turns back and does not find her boyfriend.

The video shared on Twitter by The Figen has gone viral and has by now garnered over 81K views. The video has left the internet divided. While several netizens vented out their anger on the boy as he left his girl to ‘die’ with the robbers having gun, some others opined that the boy must have his reasons to escape.

One user wrote, “There's no real men these days...Whether they abuse women or they are afraid of own shadows. That's why women become more masculine to protect themselves, not because they want to.” (sic)

Another user wrote, “He failed to do his moral duty. It doesn't matter if she's known or unknown to him. A woman must be protected in any situation or circumstances.” (sic)
