A family in Noida’s Sector 51 lived through a nightmare after discovering a cobra hidden inside their ceiling light. What they initially mistook for a loose wire turned into 36 hours of fear and chaos when the ‘wire’ began to move.

Panic in the Kitchen

The cobra was spotted in the kitchen, sparking panic. Terrified, the family locked themselves in rooms upstairs and survived only on food deliveries from outside. None of them dared step into the kitchen while the snake slithered above.

36 Hours of Tension

Forest officials were alerted immediately. A team of snake catchers and the Gautam Buddh Nagar Forest Department reached the apartment and worked tirelessly. After hours of struggle, they used a special powder inside the ceiling, which forced the reptile to come out of hiding. Finally, on Wednesday evening, the cobra was rescued safely.

A chilling video showing the cobra coiled inside the light fixture has gone viral on social media, with netizens both horrified and fascinated. Many also raised concerns about safety in urban apartments, questioning how such a dangerous reptile managed to enter a high-rise home.
