WhatsApp's parent company, Meta, is introducing a cool new feature to make your messaging better. They regularly test new ideas and features in beta versions, and the latest one (2.23.13.11) lets you pin and unpin messages automatically.

This feature is available through the Google Play Beta Program.

Pin Message on WhatsApp

Reports from WABetaInfo reveal that users have found a feature that lets them choose how long pinned messages will stay at the top of their chats and groups.

With this new addition, users can select auto message unpinning options of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.

In essence, this functionality enables users to disseminate significant announcements that will stay visible until they reach their expiration or are manually unpinned.

It is worth mentioning that despite the auto-unpinning feature, the users can still manually unpin messages whenever they want.

This flexibility ensures that users have complete control over the content shown in their chats and groups.

Although an official release date for the pinning and unpinning feature has not been announced yet, it is reassuring to know that active development is in progress.

In addition to the pinning and unpinning feature, WhatsApp developers have been working diligently to tackle spam and enhance user privacy.

A recent update brought a new feature that enables users to block unknown callers, providing an extra level of security and peace of mind.

This addition empowers you to safeguard users from unwanted and unsolicited communication.
