Ahead of IPL 2024, speculations are rife over the availability of Jasprit Bumrah for the Mumbai Indians team for the upcoming season as he unfollows the franchise on X (Twitter) and Instagram.

The recent story of Jasprit Bumrah on Instagram has also raised eyebrows. He posted a story which read, “Silence is sometimes the best answer.”

Netizens have now started assuming the sudden inclusion of all-rounder Hardik Pandya as the likely reason for Bumrah unfollowing Mumbai Indians on social media platforms.

The cryptic post of Bumrah has garnered mixed reactions. One user wrote, “Is Bumrah hinting at Pandya being propped as the next Mumbai Indians Captain, hurting Jasprit’s natural progression? Or is he just posting this to pacify his crying baby.”

Another user wrote, “Bumrah unfollowed MI from insta and twitter both. Is he leaving MI?”

Hardik Pandya’s fairy tale homecoming to the Mumbai Indians team is considered as one of the biggest deals in the IPL history.

Post Hardik Pandya’s exit from MI in 2021, the 5-time champion side was unable to deliver commendable performance, which they used to do on a regular basis.

Hardik Pandya has delivered outstanding performance for his previous side, Gujarat Titans, and also led GT to an IPL title in 2022 and finals in 2023.
