Earlier, plans to begin shooting in Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios were scrapped at the last minute. Elaborate sets had already been constructed, but the schedule was canceled and dismantled. As reported by Times of India, sources told that the shift to Ladakh was a creative decision, as the makers felt the film’s high-altitude action sequences needed to be shot continuously on location to preserve narrative flow and authenticity.
According to production updates, the Ladakh schedule began with a small prayer ceremony, followed by crew orientation and security checks. Salman has also spoken about the physical challenges of filming in extreme conditions, including cold-water stunts and high-altitude training, underscoring the demanding nature of the project.
