Minor boy goes missing from Bhubaneswar busy streets; family and police clueless

A 16-year-old boy from the Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar has been missing for the last four days, sparking concern among his family and locals.

Reports say the boy left home on September 4 to attend his karate class but never returned. When he failed to come back, his anxious mother lodged a missing complaint at the Chandrasekharpur police station the same evening.

CCTV footage later captured him walking along a road in the locality, but since then, there has been no trace of him. The disappearance has left the family in anguish, with his mother alleging negligence in the probe and accusing police of not taking sufficient steps to trace her missing son.

“I have been searching for my son along with the police since September 4, but the investigation is not being done properly. They say he may have gone to the railway station or bus stop, but he had no money with him. It has been four days, yet he is still missing. Why haven’t all CCTV cameras been checked?” asked the mother of the missing boy.
