Sakshi gives major update on CSK captain MS Dhoni’s recovery

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 champions Chennai Super kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni was injured during the mega event. He has undergone knee surgery in a bid to lead the franchise in 2024 edition of the cash-rich league.

The legendry cricketer along with his wife Sakshi have ventured into the world of movie production with their maiden Tamil film, LGM: Let’s Get Married.

The highly anticipated film made its debut on July 28. On this special occasion, Sakshi attended one of the screenings along with the film’s team. Though Dhoni was absent, fans expressed their adoration for their favourite cricketer. Several of them eagerly inquired about the Captain Cool’s recovery from the injury.

Responding to the queries, Sakshi said that he is currently undergoing rehabilitation and recovering from knee surgery.

Though Dhoni did not attend the first-day screening, he had made a visit to Chennai earlier this month to grace the pre-release event of LGM. He also delivered a speech addressing the fans.

Notably, Dhoni has been leading the Chennai Super Kings since 2008 until 2021. He had played an important role in guiding the team to emerge champions for a record-equaling fourth time in the cash-rich league.
