Close friend and teammate Abhishek Sharma gifted Gill a red rose during the celebrations, leaving the young captain visibly embarrassed. The friendship between Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma goes back to their Punjab roots, with both players mentored by the legendary Yuvraj Singh.
